Celebration of International day against Violence against Women in Sangthong District
On 20th Nov 2011, Lao Women Union in Sangthong District was organize campaign on Violence against Women (VAW) aim to raise awareness on VAW in sangthong which is first time for people here.
Participants including all sectors of District officers, 37 people are village chiefs and 37 people are head of Village Lao Women Union in hold district, GDG board committee and representative France of Embassy. activities started by mini marathon at 5:30 am, then seminar of VAW history then quiz and raise participant idea to participate end of violence against women in their society.

ຄວາມຮຸນແຮງຕໍ່ກັບແມ່ຍິງ ເປົ້າໝາຍແມ່ນເພື່ອເປັນການປູກຝັງຈິດສຳນຶກກ່ຽວກັບ ການຕ້ານການໃຊ້ຄວາມຮຸນແຮງຕໍ່
ກັບແມ່ຍິງ ຊື່ງໄດ້ຈັດເປັນຄັ້ງທຳອິດສຳລັບປະຊາຊົນຊາວເມືອງ ສັງທອງ.

GDG, LWAN corporate with Lao Women Union to organize event of Women agriculture and handicraft BAZA the 101th Anniversary of International Women’s day and supporting women’s group access to market in Lao Women Training Center.
We launched LWAN brochure and T-shirt in this event too.
