Development Partners

GDG has received funding for research and development projects from the International Development and Research Center (IDRC) , Global Fund for Women, Canada Fund, Roncalli International and UNIFEM.

CUSO – VSO Lao PDR and Concern Worlwide have provided core funding during a number of years to enable GDG to work effectively in promoting gender in development in Lao PDR.

Currently Oxfam Novib is the GDG main development partner providing funding for a three-years action plan 2008-2010 and extent in 2011-2013. And GEP-Fund by UNDP on natural resources management in Sangthong as GDG targets villages.

Member

Currently, there are 22 member organizations — INGOs and NPO/As — working at grassroots level to improve the life of rural people. Each member contributes to GDG operational costs through an annual membership fee of $300 USD.
